Strawberry Coconut Chocolate Hearts
A fun, guilt free treat that's tasty and fun to make!
Ingredients
For the Strawberry Layer
- 16 oz fresh strawberries
- ½ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 1-2 tbsp maple syrup (adjust for sweetness)
For the Chocolate Coating
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips (70%+ cacao)
- 2 tsp coconut oil
Instructions
- Blend strawberries, shredded coconut, coconut oil, and maple syrup in a food processor until smooth.
- Spoon the mixture into silicone heart-shaped molds, filling halfway. Freeze for 30 minutes.
- In a heatproof bowl, melt dark chocolate chips and coconut oil using a double boiler or microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Remove the molds from the freezer. Pour melted chocolate over the strawberry layer, filling the molds completely.
- Gently tap the mold to remove air bubbles. Freeze for another hour until solid.
- Pop the hearts out of the molds and enjoy chilled!
