Carne Asada Tacos

Tender marinated steak sliced thin and fried to perfection. Served in warm corn tortillas for satiety and topped with avocado, cilantro and pickled red onion for a burst of fresh.

Carne Asada Tacos

Tender marinated steak sliced thin and fried to perfection. Served in warm corn tortillas for satiety and topped with avocado, cilantro and pickled red onion for a burst of fresh.

Ingredients

  • *1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • *1/3 cup olive oil
  • *Juice of 2 limes
  • *4 garlic cloves, minced
  • *1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • *1 tsp cumin
  • *1 tsp chili powder
  • *Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional Toppings:
  • *pickled red onions
  • *sliced avocado
  • *chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a glass container, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cilantro, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the flank steak, ensuring it’s fully coated in the marinade. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the steak along with the marinade and cook until browned on the outside but still slightly pink inside.
  4. Serve in warm corn tortillas with pickled red onion, avocado and cilantro.
